Ken,
Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know what I thought of my recent trip to Kodiak Alaska.  In a word, "WOW".  What you offer in a fishing trip is much more than I ever expected.

Just wanted to thank you for the great time Ryan and I  had at the lodge last week.  Saltery Cove is such a unique and beautiful place it's hard to believe.

I have had the fortune of being able to stay overnight at Saltery Cove Lodge several times since it was first built. It has all the necessities to make it the most enjoyable time spent in the great outdoors.

In the past two years I've been fortunate to experience over three world-class trips to your wild and beautiful location on Kodiak Island.

I want to thank you for the most exciting adventure I have ever been a part of!  The trip through the mountain pass into Ugak Bay is like a dream world.

Are you looking for the perfect destination for that dream Alaskan fishing trip you’ve always talked about? Saltery Cove Lodge is the ideal place for the adventure of your lifetime! Let Host and Professional Guide Ken Warner show you world-class fishing and wildlife viewing at the all-inclusive Saltery Cove Lodge, located on the north side of Ugak Bay on beautiful Kodiak Island. We are not hunting guides, however, we can transport you to your hunting destination.

What makes Saltery Cove Lodge unique?

The fishing is extraordinary.
We can help you land that halibut or king salmon in salt water, and take you along the banks of the Saltery River for red, silver or pink salmon, or trout. We offer both salt and freshwater fishing. Saltwater fishing is provided aboard a 28-foot landing craft with large cabin. We have the gear and expertise to help you experience Alaskan fishing at its best. You may even get to pull up a crab pot for fresh Dungeness crab from the bay. At the end of your adventure, we’ll vacuum-seal and package fish in airplane-ready 50-lb boxes for your trip home.

The hunting is ideal.
Access to Kodiak brown bear, Sitka Black-tailed deer, and American Bison (buffalo) in remote country with breathtaking scenery. We can transport you to the hunting destination of your choice in Ugak.

The service is personal.
Saltery Cove Lodge is all-inclusive. Polaris Ranger UTV or Crew UTV are available to transport guests, luggage and supplies to the cabins. We provide expert fish guiding, all fishing gear, and three Alaskan-style meals each day. Your host and guide Ken Warner has a 50-ton U.S. Coast Guard Masters license. He is a long-time Alaskan, small-business owner, commercial fisherman, and assistant bear-hunting guide with wilderness first-aid certification and CPR. His goal is making your trip a memory to last a lifetime. Our Lodge is big enough for groups, but small enough to maintain the highest standards of personal service.

The access is yours to choose.
We provide a 17-mile off-road UTV adventure through the lush mountains of Kodiak and over the pass to Saltery, or you can access the lodge by boat. By sea, you may see whales, seals, sea lions or otter. On land, you can spot world famous Kodiak brown bear, buffalo (American Bison), Sitka black-tailed deer, rabbit and fox. Countless eagles and shorebirds can be seen on the long crescent beach and nesting in the trees around the Lodge. In remote Alaska, the journey is always part of the adventure!

The lodging is unparalleled our guests enjoy the remote lodge experience and wilderness décor, yet appreciate modern conveniences like hot showers and WiFi access.

At Saltery Cove Lodge, we'll take care of the details, so you can spend your time doing what you love!
